Today, April 16, the International Day of Prayer for the Basque People 2023 is celebrated.

This activity, which is being carried out for the 13th consecutive year, is an initiative that aims to encourage prayer in favor of the Basque people. The province of Gipuzkoa was the first one holding the activity the 25th of February in ermita de la Antigua in Zumarraga and during the following 6 Saturdays, they prayed for the different provinces in which Basque is spoken, the last prayer outing being on the 6th of April in Monte Artxanda in Bilbao.
Those attending the outings can testify to a good time of prayer and fellowship with brothers from other places, nationalities, and languages.

Today, April 16, the activity culminates with the celebration of the International Day of Prayer for the Basque people in which believers around the world come together in their church, home, or home group to intercede for the people of this land.

You can join the prayer from wherever you are and intercede for this land by praying for churches, authorities, families, or as the Lord guides you.
